Nonablative Laser Rejuvenation



Various laser systems, electrosurgical techniques and non-laser light systems are used for skin resurfacing and skin resuscitation. Non Ablative skin resurfacing aims to restructure under the skin without causing visible epidermal damage. For this purpose, Nd:YAG laser, fractional lasers and IPL are used. After the treatment, there is a decrease in wrinkles, revitalization and recovery of the skin. Skin resurfacing treatments with Nonablative Lasers have made great advances in recent years. Laser skin rejuvenation and wrinkle treatments allow treatment without peeling the skin and isolating the patient from social life. After the treatment, no wounds occur except redness, which can last for a few days under normal conditions. Before the procedure, cold compress application for a few minutes is usually sufficient for anesthesia. After the procedure, patients should be well protected from ultraviolet light sources such as the sun, spot lights, computer and television light, snowy weather and sun by the sea. Otherwise, a discoloration may occur in the treatment area. If medication is used for other reasons, the patient’s doctor should be consulted; as it might increase light sensitivity. Nonablative methods are used in skin resurfacing, spot and freckle treatments, treating scars or acne scars, reduction of knife scars, reducing under-eye bags, reduction of under-eye skin treatment.
